Jake caught his first spring Chinook today, April 28th, 2020.
Today is a very special day for Jake Lewis. He caught his first springer in the Willamette river. I sent a text to Jake this morning telling him that my good friend and fishing mentor, Shinya Nakamine, would get him into a bite. It happened right at tide change and Shinya tells me, “he’s on cloud nine right now”.
In my post yesterday I indicated that I was fortunate to have people help me out in fishing. Shinya is one of those people. He’s in several of my videos and I’ve mentioned how much I appreciate his help and guidance. Today he helped another fisherman that will no doubt be hooked for life. Tight Lines.
